After the great success of "Animal Stories of the Qur'an", here is another series presenting stories inspired by epic tales of heroes; these "Human Stories of the Qur'an" are another major work in his "Stories of the Qur'an" series. Each episode deals with a different story. But all the stories are beautifully interwoven through the narration of a main character: Jalaleldine, the sailor who is a storyteller in his spare time. When Ziad, a young boy, sneaks on board Jalaleldine's ship, the captain finds in him his lost and precious desire to retrace all these stories. At the same time, the captain helps Ziad in his search for his parents who have long since disappeared. The captain is assisted by Loulou and Marjane, two cynical and temperamental sailors who are a source of trouble for Ziad. But in the end, all the characters are a work of genius with their light-hearted humour, authentic performances and undeniable charisma throughout the story.
